Hi, I'm Barbie, originally from Venezuela, and yes, I speak both English and Spanish fluently.
Caring for animals has always been part of who I am. Tampaw Dog Service started organically when friends began asking me to care for their pets, and I discovered my true calling. What began as helping out has become my life's work: providing animals with the exceptional care they truly deserve.
I'm a firm believer that it's all about energy. What you project is what you receive. Pets communicate everything the moment you meet them, which is why the meet and greet is so essential. I focus on calm, consistent routines that honor each pet's comfort level, personality, and unique temperament. No forcing. No invading their space. I allow every pet to come to me on their own terms. They sense the energy, and that's when genuine trust and connection develop.
I especially value supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, those navigating dementia or cancer treatment, and busy professionals who deeply love their animals but need someone they can truly count on. I know there comes a point when caring for a pet becomes physically challenging, yet the comfort and companionship they provide is irreplaceable. I'm here to care for your pet from beginning to end, ensuring they remain a source of joy and comfort in your life, not a burden.
